ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE
We welcome your interest in seeking admission for your child(ren) in Greenville Christian School. The procedure for admitting a student and the required supplementary materials are detailed in the following checklist:
1. Initial contact is made and the application materials are received.
2. The following documents are completed and returned.
- Application for Admission (one per child)
- Student Questionnaire (Grades 7-12 only)
- Statement of Faith
- Commitment to Cooperative Effort
- Authorization for Emergency Care to Minor(s)
- Family Enrollment Form
3. The following documents are submitted to the school:
- Birth certificate
- Immunization records
- A copy of the student's most recent report card, standardized test results, and a transcript of current school work
- Student Recommendation forms (2-Academic; 3-Character)
- Application Fee ($10.00/per application)
4. Family interview - to be conducted once application and all related materials are received.
5. Students will be tested to determine grade placement.
6. Student interview with the headmaster for those entering grades 7-12.
Once items 1-6 have been completed, the application is referred to the Admissions Committee, and from there to the School Board. Families are officially notified as soon as possible. Re-admission for current school families takes place during the month of March; open admission begins April 1 each year.
