DI is a creative problem solving competition for students in Pre-K all the way to the University level.  Each year, teams choose a challenge from one of six areas--Technical, Scientific, Engineering, Fine Arts, Improvisational or Service Learning--and come up with an innovative solution.  Students are 100% responsible for generating and executing their own ideas, while adult Team Managers simply guide them through the creative process and teach skills students might need to complete their solution.
DI is an amazing program that fosters critical thinking, creativity, project management techniques and collaborative skills.  GC teams have been quite competitive at the Regional, State and even Global levels.
Every year our GCS DI students excel at regionals and some teams advance to state and even globals.

DI is open to GCS students pre-k through 12th grade.
