This course is a one semester course for 7th grade students.The students use a computer based program, MT PRO, to learn the letters, numbers, and symbols on the keyboard.After learning their keys, emphasis is placed on speed and accuracy.
8th Grade Computer
This course is a one semester course for 8th grade students.It covers the history of computers, operating systems, word processing, presentations, and desktop publishing.The students will use the following applications from Microsoft Office:Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
Computer 11
This course is a two semester course for 11th grade students.It covers the history of computers, operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and HTML.The students will use the following applications from Microsoft Office:Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Programming
This course is a one semester course for 12th grade students.It is a beginning programming course using Microsoft Visual Basic.The class covers program basics, variables, constants, code convention, controlling program flow with decision and looping structures.
