9TH-12TH GRADUATION PLANS AND PROGRAMS OF STUDY

Greenville Christian School offers three programs of study.   Each high school family should seek to match the program of study to the goals each has set for their children upon graduation.

The Basic Plan reflects basic graduation requirements and exceeds the basic requirements for graduation in the state of Texas.

GCS Recommended Plan reflects GCS requirements to graduate “With Honor.”
The Recommended Plan meets or exceeds the requirements of “The Recommended Program” for the state of Texas. Students must take a minimum of four honor courses (see section listing GCS Honor Courses).

GCS Distinguished Achievement Plan meets or exceeds the “Distinguished Achievement Program” for the state of Texas when combined with additional advanced measures listed below. Please schedule an appointment with the guidance counselor for further information regarding the advanced measures. This program is suggested for students considering highly selective institutions and/or merit scholarships.
