Grades 5-6 Moving Toward Independence

As students transition into fifth grade, they will spend the next two years preparing to transition to Middle School where they will become much more independent. They will prepare to take on more responsibilities, more leadership roles, more service projects and more self-discipline. In fifth grade, they will get their own lockers so that they can learn to manage organizing and planning, and at Greenville Christian, our lockers do not require nor need locks. Students will have more than one teacher, and they will move between rooms for different subjects.

Meet their two core teachers who will play a significant role in their lives throughout both fifth and sixth grades.
